Ingredients

grated carrots | 500 ml (2 cups) | |
sugar | 250 ml (1 cup) | |
crushed pineapple, undrained | 250 ml (1 cup) | |
vegetable oil | 125 ml (½ cup) | |
eggs | 2 | |
all-purpose flour | 375 ml (1 ½ cups) | |
baking powder | 5 ml (1 teaspoon) | |
baking soda | 5 ml (1 teaspoon) | |
salt | 5 ml (1 teaspoon) | |
cinnamon | 5 ml (1 teaspoon) |
Directions
- Position the baking rack in the middle of the oven. Preheat the oven to 375 °F (190 °C). Grease a 9-inch (23 cm) square baking dish.
- In a bowl, combine all of the ingredients.
- Pour the batter into the baking dish. Bake for 30 to 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
- Let cool on a rack. Umould.
