These meatballs may be small but they are jam-packed with flavour!

These meatballs smell divine. They draw people to the dinner table before the rest of the meal is even ready.

Ingredients

  Ingredients Quantitites
medium ground beef 340 g (0.77 lb)
egg 1
clove of garlic, minced 1
Italian breadcrumbs 125 ml (1/4 cup)
mozzarella cheese, grated 125 ml (1/4 cup)
salt and pepper To taste
olive oil or vegetable oil 45 ml (3 tablespoons)

Directions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together all of the ingredients (except the oil) with your hands to form a smooth paste.
  2. Form the mixture into 12 to 16 small balls. Set aside.
  3. In a large skillet, heat the oil and cook the meatballs until they are golden brown.
  4. Serve with pork cutlets, potatoes and salad.
