Québec-Style Chinese Pork Noodles

This is a really simple recipe that makes great leftovers!

Ingredients

  Ingredients Quantitites
vegetable oil 30 ml (2 tablespoons)
pork loin chops, boneless with fat 2 to 4
onion, chopped 1
celery stalks, diced 4
green pepper, diced 1
soy sauce 60 ml (1/4 cup)
macaroni 500 g

Directions

  1. Cut the pork chops into small strips.
  2. In a large frying pan or wok, cook the pork and vegetables in vegetable oil until they start to brown.
  3. Meanwhile, in a pot of salted boiling water, cook the pasta al dente. Drain and reserve 125 ml of the pasta water.
  4. Add the soy sauce, as well as the cooked and drained macaroni.
  5. Serve immediately.
